Congratulations!

Best Wishes from Lecturers and Alumni

It is amazing how 2 decades have passed by just like that but it was my deepest pleasure to have been given the opportunities to work alongside TDSI to evolve and delivery higher value OPS-TECH education to our best minds in our defence ecosystem. For the next 20 years, I see TDSI having a more critical role given the hyper-VUCA era that we will all be entering. Crises and opportunities abound, I am confident that TDSI will continue to stand tall in its 40th anniversary celebrations.

Congratulations to TDSI on your 20th Anniversary! Personally, I have deeply benefitted and am still benefitting from the range of topics covered and the number of esteemed speakers who engaged us during the course. Thankful for your role in grooming the past and present towards building our SAF today.

May TDSI continue to be the institute of choice for a military practitioner to enhance his or her credentials! One can only reminisce about the professional and personal adventures that can only be offered with the TDSI experience. Many new friendships were forged in NUS and NPS and these were no doubt the cornerstone towards a fulfilling career thereafter.

Congratulations to TDSI, and may there be more exhilarating years ahead.

Congratulations to TDSI on its 20th Anniversary! For the past 20 years, you have educated a cadre of system technocrats that contribute to the defence of Singapore.  Perhaps more importantly, you have provided a conducive environment to build relationships that became the invaluable networks that are so crucial for successful partnerships in the ecosystem. Well done.

Happy 20th birthday, TDSI! Yes, it should not just be an anniversary, but a celebration of the birth of a journey that many of us in the DTC community had the privilege to partake and in return, we have benefitted and been enriched in so many ways – intellectual capital was raised, lasting friendships were forged, and golf handicaps were lowered. For us lucky ones, the imageries of NPS and the Monterey coast are forever etched in our minds and will last a lifetime. Thanks to Lai Poh and staff who have supported us all the way. May the spirit of TDSI endure!

Congratulations on the 20th anniversary of TDSI! The experience and camaraderie within the kampung while studying abroad had been a key highlight in my life, something unique and not replicable in any other setting.  Despite being equipped with building facilities management as my sole competency when I started, the knowledge I’ve gained from the MDTS programme had given me rich exposure in different areas within the organisation, and enabled me to do make significant improvements when I moved back to BI. Hope you can continue to change the life of defence engineers for many years to come!

Congratulations to TDSI on your 20th anniversary and continue to deliver excellent postgraduate education to the local and international defence community

Congratulations to TDSI for 20 years of being the tail feathers that guide the arrow and shaft of the SAF and DTC, propelled by the will of Singaporeans towards a target board marked by the intersection of academic excellence and industry best practice! It was my honour to be part of the 2012 graduating cohort and my pleasure to have also served as a lecturer in 2020. I look forward to more unparalleled archery masterclasses from TDSI in your next 20 years!

It’s a great opportunity to thank the people who envisioned, created and nurtured TDSI as both a centre for military technological education and another bridgehead between members of the participating nations. As a junior officer in MDTS Cohort I, the program has given me so much, it’s a pleasure to support it now as a visiting professor.

Congratulations to TDSI on 20 amazing years of being a tremendous platform bringing together military personnel and defence technologists in an education and research environment.

I still look back fondly at some of the times spent working together on projects and assignments. Especially the site visits, roti john and durian tasting sessions with our overseas friends. Although we graduated in 2010, these memories are as vivid as if they happened just yesterday.

I am sure this is just one of many examples of the prominent role TDSI has played in forging lifelong bonds between course-mates.

Again, congratulates to everyone associated with TDSI on reaching this milestone and contributing to strengthening the Singapore defence ecosystem. Best wishes for an enjoyable celebration and to even more success in the future.

When leaders in our organisation have the wisdom to commit both time and money for our officers to be educated through the TDSI pathway, the organisation came away richer! Our defence ecosystem had strengthened through the educational and interaction opportunities afforded by the TDSI programme. Personally, I benefited greatly from the programme over the course of my career and I am thankful for the opportunity.

May the journey of success continue even in the coming years!  Wishing TDSI a Happy 20th Anniversary!
